Numico sells Mocaca dairy interests

THE NETHERLANDS/BRAZIL – Royal Numico, which deals in specialised nutrition, has completed the sale of the dairy activities of Mocaca, Brazil to Kremon do Brasil, a food and cleaning products producer, for an undisclosed price.

Numico said that Mocaca was not a core asset and that the sale was in line with its strategic objective of becoming a high-growth, high-margin specialised nutrition company. It will now focus on its core activities baby food, clinical nutrition and GNC.
