Dairygold board no confidence vote
IRELAND – Shareholders of the Irish dairy co-operative Dairygold have passed a vote of no confidence in its board after the company reported a poor year.
At the co-op’s annual general meeting, almost 800 of the 1,400 shareholders in attendance voted for the no confidence motion.
At the meeting, Dairygold shareholders gave full backing to a significant rationalisation programme drawn up by new chief executive Jerry Henchy.
