C12 Peptide reduces blood pressure
USA – A study at the University of Pennsylvania has confirmed that DMV International’s C12 Peptide, a natural ingredient from milk, works effectively to reduce blood pressure.
DMV International, part of Dutch co-operative Campina, introduced its C12 casein hydrolysate last year. It works directly with the body’s natural blood pressure mechanism and is said to provide safe and natural support for healthy blood pressure.
The study found that a dose of 3.4 grams per day reduced both diastolic and systolic blood pressure.
Commenting on the news, DMV research and development director David Clark said: “This is the first human study where such a low dose of a natural ace inhibiting ingredient has demonstrated efficacy.” Further trials are scheduled for later this year.
