Bayernland donates to Verona for anniversary

Fifty years ago, German dairy Bayernland opened a subsidiary in Sterzing in northern Italy. The management decided that in the current phase of the Covid-19 crisis, it was not a moment for birthday celebrations.

Instead the management of Bayernland Sterzing used the anniversary to present Francesco Bosa, president of the Red Cross in Verona, with a check for €50,000 for the purchase of Covid-19 aids for the city of Verona and the surrounding communities.

The connection to the city of Verona has now existed for over 20 years, as Bayernland has its Italian operational headquarters there, with one of the most modern high-bay warehouses in northern Italy, from where Bavarian dairy products are delivered to all regions of Italy every day.
