Fonterra appoints Stevens in Australia

New Zealand dairy co-operative Fonterra has appointed Alex Stevens as managing director of its Australian brands division. Stevens was formerly managing director of Carlton and United Breweries at drinks giant Fosters Group. Before that role, he was CEO of PepsiCo’s operations in Australia and New Zealand. He will manage Fonterra’s portfolio of dairy brands, which include Mainland, Bega and Perfect Italiano cheese, Ski and Nestle Diet yogurt, Western Star and Mainland butter. He will report to Fonterra Australia and New Zealand managing director John Doumani.
