Danone announces strong third quarter results
Danone’s dairy sales increased by 2.3% during the third quarter, according to the French company’s latest results.
This performance was driven by a continued strong volume growth acceleration to 7%, which was partly offset by a negative value growth of -4.7%.
The third quarter results also showed that sales increased 4.1% in the third quarter while volume growth accelerated to 7.1%.
Baby nutrition sales grew 6.5% in the third quarter on the back of solid volume growth of 3.7%. Medical nutrition fared the best after growth of 12.2% in the third quarter.
