Looking ahead

The year is winding down and I am already thinking to the future – in short, to the fabulous shows I will be going to, including our very own Dairy Industries Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh from 29-30 October. (Don’t miss it, www.dairyindustriesexpo.com, contact [email protected] for exhibitor information) I have been working on keynote speakers and they promise to be cracking ones. All will be revealed in the new year!
In the meantime, there is the Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show, set to land at Birmingham NEC 4-5 February. Not sure if you’ve ever been (it used to be held in Harrogate), but it is an exhibition where you wear your comfy trousers because you are going to eat some amazing ice creams and get some delicious ideas for the next generations of gelato and ice cream.
In the growing Middle East market, Gulfoods is again being held in Dubai, and that’s 30 years of this exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This show goes from strength to strength.
Dairy Innovations Strategies is again on in Copenhagen, 26-27 March, and we look forward to attending. Meanwhile, the Nordic Dairy Congress will again be in northern Europe, and this time it’s Iceland who is hosting, 20-22 May. Both of these shows are so very informative and fabulous to attend.
I will leave the Society of Dairy Technology’s events here: https://www.sdt.org/events/37/. This one is the Spring event. They are so packed full of usable knowledge, and they also have local meetings here in the UK. They are coming to a venue near you and well worth the time.
I haven’t even gotten to the midyear mark on 2025 events, but there will be something for everyone this year, it seems. Make sure to make your bookings, and see you all there.
