Tims Dairy launches branded yogurts into Sainsbury’s

UK Supermarket chain Sainsbury’s is now stocking two of Tims Dairy’s big pot (450g) Greek style bio-live yogurts – Greek style Vanilla and Greek style Blackcurrant – in regional branches this year (from 8 September).

The two products will launch into 72 stores in the south-east region including Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Oxfordshire and East & West Sussex.

Like Sainsbury’s, Tims Dairy started as a family business in central London – in Warren Street – in 1949. The company prides itself on its Greek heritage and being British made, using only fresh British milk from West Country family farms.

Tims focuses on uncompromising product quality and creamy taste and texture. Its ‘proper’ Greek style yogurts are:-

  • Bio-live made with live active cultures and fresh British milk in support of UK farmers
  • In new 100% recycled PET pots which are also 100% recyclable
  • Natural ingredients
  • New reduced levels of added sugar
  • Gut friendly
  • Inspired by a Greek family recipe
  • Wholesome goodness from their Dairy in the heart of the Chiltern Hills

Tims Dairy rebranded its Greek style range during the challenges of the pandemic, in 2020, with a modern fresh and happy new look and feel, including a focus on the Tims Dairy ‘daisy’ logo and lovely fruit images.

“We’re delighted to be launching into selected Sainsbury’s” says managing director Chris Timotheou. “Over the years we have received many consumer pleas for us to be listed in Sainsbury’s and we hope this will be the beginning of a branded partnership and growth with a retailer of quality and heritage too.”
