Eagle Product Inspection offers Pack 400 HC X-Ray inspection system

Eagle Product Inspection, an inspection and product safety company, has developed the Pack 400 HC X-Ray Inspection System. The machine is designed to meet the sanitation and hygiene requirements of industries where daily equipment sanitisation is mandatory, such as meat, poultry, seafood, and dairy.

The Pack 400 HC features a hygienic construction with interlocked hinged louvers, allowing for easy conveyor access and cleaning. The design enables a single person to disassemble the entire machine in minutes, significantly reducing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency. The system’s IP69 ingress protection rating and Type 304 stainless steel construction with a surface finish less than 32μ-inch RA ensure it can withstand rigorous cleaning processes while maintaining optimal performance.

Equipped with Eagle’s SimulTask PRO image processing software and advanced photon-counting Performance X-ray Technology (PXT), the Pack 400 HC delivers inspection capabilities. This allows for precise detection of a wide range of contaminants, including calcified bone, metals, glass, and stones, while also performing inline product integrity checks such as fill level evaluation, mass measurement, content counting, and detection of missing items or unwanted voids. The PXT technology enhances inspection accuracy, ensuring consistent performance even in challenging applications.

The Pack 400 HC is built to strict mechanical and electrical safety standards, complying with Category 3 (EN954) and Performance Level “d” (PLd, EN13849) safety circuits. It also features on-screen status and diagnostics, ensuring safe and transparent operation.

The system’s advanced features, multi-zone operation, and comprehensive statistics tracking, ensure consistent performance and adaptability to unique product lines, the company says.
