Agathangelou launches automatic halloumi line

Agathangelou, a manufacturer of dairy processing equipment, has launched a fully automatic production line for halloumi and grilled cheese. This transition from manual to advanced automation sets new industry standards, reinforcing Agathangelou’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and superior product quality, the company says.
As the birthplace of halloumi, Cyprus has a long tradition of producing this iconic cheese. Key advantages of the new production line include a 70% reduction in labour costs, with automation streamlining operations and reducing manual labour while maintaining efficiency. Another highlight is enhanced product quality, with uniform taste, texture, and consistency. The automation also eliminates variability, ensuring consistent output, and offers a 2-3% increase in yield.
