The International Dairy Federation (IDF) and the International Milk Promotion (IMP) Group are proud to announce Denmark as the winner of the 2025 Yves Boutonnat International Milk Promotion Trophy, awarded during the 60th Anniversary celebrations of the IMP at the IDF World Dairy Summit 2025 in Santiago, Chile. This year’s competition showcased outstanding innovation and marketing communication in generic dairy advertising, with finalists from three countries presenting their campaigns to an international audience of dairy industry leaders. 2025 Finalists included:
· Canada – “Unique Environmental Farm Plans” presented by Pamela Nalewajek.
· Switzerland – “Don’t Just Play, Engage with Dairy” presented by Stefan Arnold
· Denmark – “Think Dairy” presented by Anja Koch Rasmussen
After a rigorous selection process, Denmark’s “Think Dairy” campaign, presented by Anja Koch Rasmussen, was recognized for its creativity, impact and contribution to promoting dairy in a positive and innovative way. The International Milk Promotion (IMP) group is the permanent taskforce of the IDF Standing Committee on Marketing, comprising around 20 member organizations involved in generic dairy marketing. The group’s mission is to identify market and consumer trends, share case studies on dairy product positioning and discuss opportunities and challenges for the dairy sector. The annual Yves Boutonnat International Milk Promotion Trophy competition, initiated in 1989, is a highlight of the IMP’s activities. It provides a platform for member countries to showcase their best recent generic advertising campaigns, with a focus on innovation and effective marketing communication. In 2006, the trophy was named in honour of Yves Boutonnat, a long-serving head of marketing at CNIEL (France) and a key figure in the IMP and IDF communities. This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the IMP, underscoring decades of collaboration and excellence in dairy marketing worldwide.
