Unilever announces centre expansion
More than 250 jobs look set to be created at Unilever’s health-drink plant in Covington, US, after the company announced a $100 million expansion.
Over 160 people currently work at the centre, which produces Slim-Fast diet drinks. Ice cream and other frozen items from Unilever’s brands will be produced there in the future.
The expansion will include 32,000 square feet of new freezer space, with construction set to start in the first quarter of 2010.
