Amcor speaks for packaging at the International Cheese & Dairy Expo

Amcor will be discussing its offerings on the AB Dairy stage on 27 June at 14:30 at the International Cheese & Dairy Expo in Stafford, UK. Amcor is a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions across a variety of materials for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal-care, and other products.

It works with companies around the world to protect their products and the people who rely on them, differentiate brands, and improve supply chains through a range of flexible and rigid packaging, speciality cartons, closures, and services. The company is focused on making packaging that is increasingly lighter weight, recyclable and reusable, and made using an increasing amount of recycled content. In fiscal year 2023, 41,000 Amcor people generated US$14.7 billion in annual sales from operations that span 218 locations in 41 countries.

Recently Amcor collaborated with Fromagerie Milleret, with which it has a long term partnership of over 30 years, to deliver premium soft cheese in recyclable paper packaging. The project will bring sustainable packaging to some of France’s most loved cheese brands. Amcor’s AmFiber Matrix packaging has been certified as recycle-ready in many countries with established paper streams, including Milleret’s key markets of Germany through Cyclos- HTP, Italy through Aticelca 501/2019, and – of course – France via CEREC.
