New global agricultural chief for Arla

Lisa Ehde has been appointed as the new head of Arla‘s global agriculture and member affairs department, succeeding Graham Wilkinson. Ehde officially assumes her new role on 1 March 2024, as Wilkinson is leaving Arla to become the CEO of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) in the UK.

Ehde, previously the head of agriculture and member affairs in Arla Sweden and part of the Swedish management, brings with her a wealth of experience. Before joining Arla, she held several leadership positions at the Swedish Farmers’ Association (LRF) and government offices.

“Lisa has an impressive track record and has already made significant contributions to our owners and had a major impact on the agricultural agenda during her time at Arla. She is a strong leader with the breadth and experience to step into this key role in the company,” says Hanne Søndergaard, executive vice president, agriculture, sustainability & communication at Arla globally.

“It is with mixed feelings that I leave the most enjoyable and exciting job in ‘Milk Sweden’. I am so grateful for the collaboration with our Swedish owners over the past three years. But at the same time, I am incredibly happy about this opportunity working on the issues that I am passionate about on a global level,” Ehde says.
